| Classic Artists Today – “The Best Songs Today…From Yesterday’s Top Artists”
Concept: Feature music by Rock, Pop and Soul artists that have sold millions and millions of records during their careers. Their latest CD’s and songs are featured with a “Classic” song after every 3 new songs. Each week there is a “Featured Artist” spotlight that features a new song, “classic” song, and an Interview.
The “Classic” song featured is typically a song that shows up on a “Greatest Hits” compilation, but is seldom played on a Classic Rock station. The “New” songs have much of the same attributes and quality that made the Artists a “Hot” commodity in their heyday, but are consistently overlooked by radio programmers today.
